Privacy policy
At MDesigns we take your personal data seriously. This policy describes how we collect and process personal data in accordance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173), its Implementing Rules and Regulations, and issuances of the National Privacy Commission (NPC).
Personal information controller
MDesigns, [address], [SEC/DTI registration no.]. Contact: hej@mdesigns.dk.
What data do we process?
- Contact details (name, email, phone, business name) that you provide to us.
- Account details and content you submit through your dashboard.
- Payment details are processed securely by our payment provider ([payment provider]) — we do not store card data.
- Technical data (cookies, logs) when you use our website.
- Whether and when you open our proposal emails (measured with a tracking pixel — see the section on open tracking).
Purposes and lawful bases
- Delivering our services (performance of a contract with you).
- Support and communication (our legitimate interests in serving you).
- Measuring whether our proposal emails are opened, so we can follow up (legitimate interests).
- Complying with legal obligations, such as tax and accounting requirements.
Open tracking in proposal emails
When we send you a proposal by email, we embed a small, invisible image (a tracking pixel) that lets us see whether and when the email has been opened. We use this to gauge interest and follow up on the proposal in a timely way. The basis is our legitimate interest in running and improving our sales process. You may object at any time by contacting us, and you can disable the tracking by blocking external images in your email client.
Retention
We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described above, or as required by law (for example, record-keeping requirements under Philippine tax and accounting rules).
Your rights
Under the Data Privacy Act you have the right to be informed, to access, to correct, to erasure or blocking, to object, to data portability, and to damages. Contact us to exercise your rights. You may also lodge a complaint with the National Privacy Commission (NPC).
Processors and data location
We use trusted service providers (hosting, payments, email) under data processing agreements. Data is stored on secure servers, which may be located outside the Philippines (currently in the European Union), with appropriate safeguards in place.
